Very nice location, food is a little slow however if you order before time it’ll all be good, the view is fantastic, lemurs sometimes come close up to the Bungalow, you can even feed them some bananas if you’d like, you can even hear there loud howls every morning. Overall the price is decent for all the pros, couldn’t find any cons for now but yeah.. :)

The sleeping huts look nice and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom however can use an upgrade and better facilities. Breakfast was great. This accommodation is OK.

We had a nice bungalow with view at the jungle. Even spotted a sifaka from the hotel!! Everything inside our room got moist because there wasn't glass in the windows. Food was okay. Staff was friendly.

Well located hotel, 10 min walk away from Andasibe's entrance (Mantadia always requires a 4wd, a moto or a bike however).

We slept there 2 nights to visit the park and one night one week later on our way back to Tana. The mattress was fabulous after a full day of moto ride on the bumpy RN2. It is tough, which is best for the back. Hot water flowed flawlessly.
It is true though, as many commented, that the bungalows are poorly isolated. We stayed there in May 2022, it was fine once under the blanket. Maybe it is different in July or August and it is too cold (or too warm in January or February, can't say).

The background jungle cry is magical. We ate each time on the gorgeous wooden veranda (with our jackets on) and sipped the lemongrass infusion after a day of hiking. Food is excellent, I recommend you order the Chinese type of dishes, such as the woks. French frites were fine too. There are some veggie options.

I read a lot of negative comments on smiles and the lack of expressive empathy on the staff's faces. I cannot agree as far as we are concern. I witnessed however very unpleasant customers complaining and talking rudely to the waiters.

Guides will respectfully approach you at the restaurant and ask you about your plans. You'll need a guide as it is mandatory to visit the park. So you can just hire one there. We went with Panderies, who did his best so we could go to the primary forest. We met him also on our way back, he must be there on a regular basis (French speaking).

To sum up, I only took off one star because of the poor bungalow isolation and because the refused to lend us their bikes. Their reason was that it rained the night before, which happens 80% of the time in Andasibe. I recommend this accomadtion undoubtedly.

For the low price (78000 ariary/night for double room in Aug 2022) this place is absolutely perfect. WiFi is weak (and only in lobby) breakfast is meh (but local lunch/dinner meals are great) and there is no heating, but who cares? Bring warm pyjamas, pretend you're glamping, and go find some lemurs.

I stayed here in February of 2018 and had a wonderful time. Accommodations were clean, grounds were clean, staff was friendly. It faces the forest so in the early morning sometimes the Indri would be calling to each other. I ran a moth light at my hut and had lots of wonderful insects come to it at night. During the day I did guided hikes in the local reserve with Patrice Velomaro who speaks English and knows the diversity of the organisms with amazing depth.

Beautiful setting just on the edge of the forest and the grounds are well kept. The lodging is basic but is fine considering where you are. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant is actually pretty good. That staff was friendly.
