I came here for the spa and didn't sleep at the hotel. The spa services were really lovely. The masseuse was very good and the body wrap was great. However some of the facilities need an upgrade. The lights in the room kept going on and off and the music stopped sometimes and then continued again. Also, the hammam room and showers could use some improvement. Giving the spa services 5 stars and the facilities 3.

No lifts lots of stairs. Ants in room. Hot water runs red and dirty. Balcony plants used a ashtray. Nice old wood features

espresso and sandwich are a real treat :-)

I can just speak for the café downstairs but that is a real treat. I decided to take some baguette home as the sandwich was just delicious. No comparison to what you normally get – unfortunately that is also true for the price... (10 times the normal street price, but with 4.000Ar for the baguette still "in the range", at least once in a while).

One of the best hotels in the heart of Antananarivo. The view of the city from the room is beautiful.
Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely. Will recommend it.

From 1930's I think. It's athmosphere a bit historical, well furnished, warm, dim lit. Good view of city. Good breakfast. Not bad restaurant. Reception knows little English like all other Madagascar People. I suppose best in the Antanarivo.

An older hotel centrally located near the presidential palace, government ministries and luxury shopping sites. Rooms are spacious. The hotel had several boutique shops, bars, restaurants, and spa. Breakfast is sumptuous and varied. The "Old Dame" of local hotels.

Of the three places I have stayed in while visiting Abrams Marino, this was my favourite. Staff were friendly (maybe some overly so... Always pushing for a tip), many had at least rudimentary English, and the hotel is like a delightful labyrinth to explore. A casino, several restaurants, a bar, a good looking gym and a great swimming pool. Best yet, a patisserie! Some convenient shops in house and excellent free Internet.
